The new illy Art Collection series designed by Olimpia Zagnoli, the 2019 OLIMPIA ZAGNOLI ESPRESSO CUP, tells a story about sisterhood. Six women of different characters, who are not actual sisters but are as close as a family, meet for coffee and cake. They talk and laugh, sometimes defending different opinions, but always enjoying being together and sharing.
The Olimpia Zagnoli art collection series tells the story of six different voices talking about the future from a unique perspective, representing the six characters with six colors.
Olimpia Zagnoli, a world-renowned Italian illustration artist, began to discover her creativity in kindergarten thanks to the innovative education she received in her hometown of Reggio Emilia. After moving to Milan, she took her first steps into the field of illustration; in New York, she collaborated with publications such as the New York Times. During this time, she began to create her own style, using only a few bright colors and soft forms. She has participated in many projects with illy, including the new illy Art Collection series, where the dialogue between six female characters is explored.
